Capromorelin for Recovery

Oral non-peptide ghrelin-receptor agonist; FDA-approved as a veterinary appetite stimulant.

Why Capromorelin for recovery?

Capromorelin is a small-molecule ghrelin agonist (GHSR1a) approved by the FDA for appetite stimulation in dogs (Entyce, 2016) and cats (Elura, 2020). Human Phase 2 trials in elderly sarcopenia showed modest gains in tandem-walk and lean mass before development was halted.

Recovery context: Accelerating soft-tissue, tendon, gut, and post-training repair. Capromorelin fits this goal because its category (Performance) and benefit profile align with the underlying mechanism.
