ApoB
Protein on cholesterol-carrying particles
ApoB is a protein found on the surface of LDL and certain other particles that carry cholesterol and fats through the blood. Measuring ApoB provides an estimate of the number of these particles. It is sometimes used alongside standard cholesterol tests to describe lipid-related markers.
