Nitric Oxide
Molecule that relaxes blood vessel walls
Nitric oxide is a very small signaling molecule produced by cells that line blood vessels and by other tissues. It causes nearby smooth muscle to relax, which widens vessels and improves local blood flow. Research on BPC-157 and similar compounds has included examination of how they may influence nitric oxide related pathways in tissue repair models.
