Reference Range
Typical lab values for most healthy people
A reference range is the interval of results that a laboratory test is expected to fall within for the majority of people without the condition being tested for. Ranges are derived from testing large groups of individuals. A result inside or outside the reference range must be interpreted by a qualified professional together with other clinical information.
