Collagen synthesis is the cellular process of assembling specific amino acid chains into the triple-helix form of collagen and then organizing those molecules into fibers. Fibroblasts are the primary cells responsible in skin, tendons, and other connective tissues. GHK-Cu and BPC-157 are among the peptides studied for possible support of collagen production and organization in repair models.
