Thymosin
Family of peptides originally studied from thymus tissue
Thymosins are a group of peptides first identified in thymus extracts and later found in many tissues. Different members have been examined for roles in immune cell maturation, tissue repair, and cell migration. TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, while Thymosin Alpha-1 is studied as a separate full-length bioregulator peptide.
