Fibroblast
Cell that builds and maintains connective tissue
Fibroblasts are cells that produce collagen, elastin, and other components of the extracellular matrix that gives tissues structure and strength. They become active at sites of injury to support repair and remodeling. GHK-Cu and several healing-oriented peptides are studied in part for their observed effects on fibroblast activity and matrix production in lab models.
