LH
Pituitary hormone that drives sex hormone output
LH is luteinizing hormone, a hormone released by the pituitary gland in the brain. In men it stimulates the testes to produce testosterone. In women it triggers ovulation and supports production of estrogen and progesterone. LH is measured as part of evaluating reproductive hormone function.
