Epitalon
Epitalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) is a synthetic tetrapeptide developed as the chemically defined form of the pineal polypeptide extract Epithalamin. It has been studied for its reported ability to stimulate telomerase activity and modulate the pineal gland's regulation of melatonin and circadian rhythms. Russian research groups report life-span extension in rodents and normalized melatonin secretion in elderly subjects.
No acute perceptible effect; intended for long-term cellular outcomes rather than immediate changes.
Store the lyophilized powder refrigerated (2 to 8 C), or frozen for long-term storage, protected from light. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, keep refrigerated and use within about 4 weeks.
