Scientific Overview
Survodutide (BI 456906) is a weekly GLP-1R / glucagon-receptor co-agonist co-developed by Boehringer Ingelheim and Zealand Pharma. Phase 2 in obesity reported up to 19% weight loss at 46 weeks, and a 2024 MASH trial demonstrated significant fibrosis improvement. Phase 3 SYNCHRONIZE program is ongoing.
